To date, almost each state in the country has geriatric care managers that are willing and readily available to help those who need their advices and insights. Thy can do or finish in two hours the things that other people without care managers complete in two weeks. Plus, the payment for their services is a lot cheaper than the money that a family member would spend in trying to contact or check if their older loved one is safe and in good condition. In order for an elder care specialist or care manager to be certified and get such designation, he must have knowledge in the field of estate and trust planning, retirement planning, and other fields that has something to do with the financial condition of the elders. He must also passed and completed the tests required by the National Society of Accountants and must have at least three years of experience in accounting or taxation.
