The typical Russian dating scam story starts with the man getting a reply to his web ad. Guys usually respond to a profile from a sexy, hot super-models profile. In a lot of these Russian Dating scam stories, the woman usually will be much younger than the man. The man almost certainly gets excited by the thought of an attractive young woman taking interest in him, and he thinks he has hit the big time. Guys this is how the scammers target you. She does not have money for a visa and/or air ticket. He is then asked to send her money by a wire transfer via Western Union. Scammers can pick up this money anywhere in their country. Other ways of getting money out of victims include faking a family "tragedy", or an injury while coming to visit their new love in the west and the list goes on. But unfortunately men have been falling for these Russian Dating Scams for many many years. And this is only getting bigger as more men turn to foreign women for love or marriage. But, not every Russian woman or dating service is a scam. A large majority of these women are honest and have genuine intentions. If you are serious about dating or marrying a foreign woman you must educate yourself on international dating. If YOU are truly going to try to date foreign women this is a MUST.
