As far as slider phones go the Samsung s3500 Marcel Pink takes some beating. Its sleek and fashionable design ensures the user is credited with a sense of fashion to envy. The phone comes with a creditable 2 megapixel camera, which takes excellent quality photo’s whilst on the move. To make sure the full image is captured when taking landscapes etc, a panorama shot facility is included. This is a very useful facility because it provides the means to get a great deal more information and image into a single shot rather than take multiple shots and trying to put them together. The camera also doubles up as a video camera, enabling video capture and playback. An impressive MP3 media player is built in to the Samsung S3500 Marcel Pink which gives the user the chance to listen to their favourite tracks. All major audio formats are catered for, including MP3, AAC+ and MIDI formats. The memory of 40Mb isn't huge but this is compensated for with the opportunity to increase the memory storage up to creditable 8GB. For those who prefer radio, an FM radio is available which offers local and national radio stations, for those occasions when listening to the MP3 is becoming boring. For times when the user may want to transfer files, a handy Bluetooth connection offers this facility, allowing a wireless connection with any Bluetooth enabled device. This can be especially useful for transferring photo’s, music or ringtones. The handy method of transferring data is relatively seamless and is simple enough for even the most technophobic amongst us. The Samsung S3500 Marcel Pink provides a viable mobile phone for a very competitive price. Samsung are offering this phone as an entry level phone. Its features and function may not compete with the high end phones available, however that was never its intention. It provides a solid and usable mobile phone with a sleek and stylish design within a price bracket that attracts attention. For the price this phone is hard to beat.
