By: Stephen Michaels Home | Cancer | Skin-Cancer

The struggle for clearing yourself from acne can be a very expensive one. Although there are a lot of skin care treatments being sold in the market today, most of these conventional treatments are a pain in the wallet to use. The problem that would really hurt you here is when you do purchase a treatment for a huge amount of money and then end up realizing that it just doesn’t work for you after all. You would definitely be wasting your time and money with them. In regards to this problem, there are actually a lot of natural, easy to find, and inexpensive day to day ingredients that you use which can be an effective home cure for acne.

A lot of people are going for these natural solutions for acne because they are much less expensive and they usually have no side effects to your skin. The only thing about these treatments is that they do take time to bestow their effects and you would be required to use them more often. Never the less, the end cost would still tip to the favor of these natural remedies because they really are inexpensive to use.

An important thing to remember when it com to using a home cure for acne problems on your skin is to get the right one for your current problem. Here are some of the popularly effective natural acne remedies that you can use today.

â€Sandal wood paste and rose water can be applied to your skin to cleanse and revitalize it. Apply the mixture to your skin an leave it there for the whole night, rinse it the next day and keep on doing this to achieve a clearer more glowing acne free skin.

â€Honey is a very effective home remedy, and this is because of the strong anti-bacterial property that it has. Applying honey to your skin can help neutralize and eliminate the acne causing bacteria thriving on it. You can also include honey to your diet as a replacement for the sugar (sugar is known to be an ingredient that triggers acne).

â€Turmeric is another effective natural remedy because of its natural anti-bacterial property. This ingredient should not be used directly on the skin. What you can do is mix turmeric with chick pea paste, which is a very effective natural skin exfoliator. You can apply the mixture of turmeric and chick pea paste and leave it on your skin for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off and pat your skin dry gently.

â€Olive oil can be used as a good moisturizer for your skin to keep it from drying out. Although olive oil is indeed an oil, it does not trigger acne and this is because the skin does not absorb this natural ingredient, thus adding no excess oil to your skin that may stimulate acne breakouts.

Using natural ingredients for an effective home treatment for acne can be very beneficial not only to your skin but to your wallet as well.
