Among the more serious side effects of diflucan yeast infection are convulsions and seizures, and other side effects include heavy blistering and also peeling of the skin with accompanying skin rashes which turns to a red color. Further, people who take it may also lose their appetite, see their skin turn to yellow color and there may also be pain in the abdomen.

Besides these relatively rare side effects of diflucan yeast infection, there are other side effects that are not quite so serious, but which still occur and these include feeling nauseous, vomiting, upset stomachs and even diarrhea and also headaches, foul taste in the mouth and some amount of bloating. These side effects of diflucan are among the most common side effects, however, this list does not include all the side effects of diflucan. Your symptoms may get better before the infection is completely treated.

Diflucan

DIFLUCAN is a tablet you swallow to treat vaginal yeast infections caused by a yeast called Candida. Diflucan comes in a bright blue box it is one capsule enclosed in a plastic bubble. Diflucan is used to treat infections caused by fungus, which can invade any part of the body including the mouth, throat, esophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area, and the blood. Diflucan is also used to prevent fungal infection in people with weak immune systems caused by cancer treatment, bone marrow transplant, or diseases such as AIDS. Diflucan can also result in an allergic reaction although such instances are pretty rare but when it does occur, causes symptoms like hives, difficulty in breathing or even swallowing and blood pressure may also drop suddenly while it has also been noticed that there is swelling in the lips, face, throat as well as the tongue. DIFLUCAN keeps working for several days to treat the infection. Diflucan can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Diflucan will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu. Diflucan may also be used in some patients to prevent certain fungal infections after bone marrow transplant or to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
