Signs It's Time To Redesign Your Company Brand

A company brand encompasses everything your business is all about. It’s not just the name or the logo of the company. It’s not just the product or service you offer. It’s also not just how your products look. It’s everything that your company is including the name, logo, and image of your company. When a business is starting out, the company brand is often based on the owner’s vision of the company’s future. However, it is common to find that your primary vision for the company is not turning out the way you expected it to be as you go along in operating your business. Businesses are dynamic in nature and change is inevitable. As such, redesigning the company’s brand may become necessary especially when big changes occur.
one major change that obviously warrants a redesign in the company brand is a change in the company’s name. You can’t just change the name of the company and use your old logo without anyone noticing. Aside from changing your logo, you also need to change your website, brochure, letterhead, flyers, and other marketing items. A big shift in the service or product you offer also warrants the need for a brand redesign. If you sell wood and have trees for your logo design, it would hardly seem right to use the same logo if you will be shifting to a hair salon business instead. If you will be expanding or reducing your business, it will also be a good idea to redesign the company brand. This will help reorganize the expectations of your customers about your business. Changing your target clients also calls for a brand redesigning to avoid confusion among consumers. If you offer consulting services to nurses who want to work in other countries but want to shift to offering consulting services to physical therapists instead, it would only be appropriate to change the company brand.
