One of the simplest strategies for weight loss is to eat with smaller plates. The plates we have now tended the 10 to 12 inches across. So, we tend to fill up the plate 12 inches across. A couple inches high, with food, and the next thing we hear subconscious way, is our mom saying to us we can’t leave the table, unless the plate is empty. So although many years of diet, exercise, striving for a weight loss goals goes out the window, because we have to clean our plates off. It is not even a choice. It is our way of honoring and loving our mother. We all have this internal drive from our mothers to finish what is in front of us. It is subconscious, and it is insidious. It is a struggle, every time we sit down to eat. Honoring our mother. It is our way of loving our mother and family. Now we have a choice it terrible choice. Either we can achieve our weight loss goals or reject our mother with all the love, honor and baggage involved. Smaller plates that is the key. If we are now eating off of a 12 inch plates put them all in storage, and buy 10 inch plates to eat off them from here on out. If we have 10 inch plates put them in storage, and by 8 inch plates. So we automatically use the smaller diameter plates. Because the plates are smaller. We will automatically start to eat less. We will start having smaller meals, mini meals. And if we choose to have seconds are we really having more than we did before or the same amount? Try this strategy for four weeks for your entire family. Not just you. If you have kids instead of 8 inch plates. Try giving them 6 inch plates to see what happens. Smaller plates is one of the simplest most profound weight loss strategies out there. So honor your mother and eat less and achieve your weight loss goals.
