1.Transform solar energy into electricity †After absorbing photon energy, the solar panels set free the electrons or negative charges. They then move through the semiconductor material to produce electricity. The solar power panels convert this electricity into DC (direct current), which is then sent to inverter to be transformed into AC (alternating current).

2.Absorb solar power †The solar power panels absorb sun's energy through use of semi conducting material. Silicon is the most common semi conducting material used for this purpose.

3.Solar cell designs †It is used to operate a single and small appliance. Cell is the most important component of full solar power panel designs.

4.Solar dish systems †This is a mobile system and can be rotated and adjusted to procure maximum sunlight.

5.Solar panel arrays †These are rectangular constructions placed on the roof tops. There are innumerable solar panels that work in arrangement to power a house or a system within the house.

6.Energy collection †Solar power panels are the elementary component of an energy collection system that functions on a large scale. Each solar panel is made of numerous solar cells, designed to absorb sun's energy for practical use.
