India being a vast country has plenty to offer the eager traveller. In fact there are so many tourist places in India that they cater to almost any holiday type. You could choose from a variety of themes ranging from wildlife, to beaches, adventure, heritage and leisure. There are custom made tours available for all of these. Rajasthan, Kerala and Goa are probably the most popular ones. If you decide on Rajasthan you will be exploring the world of the Rajputs, their forts and palaces and the way they lived. Kerala offers you variety from the backwaters to the beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and hill stations. Goa too has its share of attractions, however most people go there for the beach. Holiday options in the North Rajasthan is not the only place that you can visit in the north. There are many other tourist places in North India too. All of these can be accessed from Delhi with no trouble at all. You could visit the holy cities of Varanasi and Amritsar. You can also make your way up to the Himalayas and its towns. The places that you can cover depend completely on the amount of time you have at hand.
