Sony Ericsson W705-checking Out The Pros And Cons

By: admindgs Home | Communications | Mobile

The name Sony is known for their new inventions, time and again. They are committed towards customer satisfaction. And there lies their success of dedication. It is their dedication that comes out in the form of new innovations. And here comes their latest outcome W705. The letter "W" itself probably tells the secret behind it. It is a Walkman phone series with the tag no as 705. It has a capacity to show 256K colors and 2.4 QVGA. The screen is fairly large that measures 2.4 inches across diagonal corners. The pixel that is delivered is a clear and bright 320 x 240.

Being able to keep in touch constantly is not everything that today's generations ask for. To put up with their demand, Sony Ericsson has come out with an enhanced 3.2MP camera and FM radio with RDS. As such Sony Ericsson is quite a popular brand amongst the youngsters.

Principle Features

This is probably the ninth model of Sony Ericsson. It comes with 4 GB memory card, which is free and included in the package. The internal memory goes by 120MB that can be extended by card slot of M2. And the earphones are of HPM-86. The sound waves are so clear as though it is a loudspeaker.

Model no 705 and 705U

It is being released in two models under no.705 and 705U. The model 705U is for the phone with orange body. It is likely to come up in Silver and Red color versions starting from Q1 of 2009. While the silver colored phone is apt for a luxurious look, red color is going to be absolutely passionate. The sliding design gives a sleek look that matches with silver, gold and brown colors. It is fit enough to drive a person crazy just with its look.

Sleek and Tidy

This phone measures 95mm when the slide is closed. It could fit in anyone's pocket or a bag conveniently. With the slides open it is 48mm wide and 14.3mm thick. The phone weighs just 98g. Going by the measurement and the weight, the sleek and tidy look can be well imagined.

To make it more updated, it has updated features like Shake Control and SenseMe. A tiny key on the top of the handset has to be pressed and a shake will move you through the tracks and adjust the volume. All these features put together is sure to meet your ideas of a complete package that is fully updated with the latest demands in the phone.

With so many features, it would be an anytime welcome amongst youngsters, to be more precise. The other models and brands are sure to be left behind including its own model W980i and W880i in the mobile world.

The Flaws

The only flaw is in its GPS that is lacking and camera offering just 3.2 mega pixels for its price.

The conclusion is: with the neat and tidy look, the overall hardware design is good; and you can also experience some contemporary technology.
