Ebay's feedback rating system allows buyers and sellers to comment on their transactions, and savvy eBayers will look at a seller's feedback rating before making the decision to buy. It is of utmost importance to ensure that each transaction is successful, as this sets the basis of trust for all future transactions. In simple terms, customer confidence is increased when they see positive feedback and a good trading history, and this in turn can lead to an increase in bids.
