Stress And Panic Symptoms

By: Nathan Tyler Home | Health-and-Fitness | Diseases-and-Conditions

If you’ve never experienced panic symptoms it can be hard to understand what a sufferer goes through when they experience a panic attack. Living with such anxiety disorders can be terrifying, ruining chances of a normal life. With new an effective means at managing and eliminating the symptoms of anxiety disorders many sufferers are finding a new lease of life. This may be comforting to hear for those who suffer from panic disorders.

First panic symptoms before the full onset of an attack include chest pain, nausea and accelerated heart rate. These are only few among many symptoms a sufferer might experience. Depending on the anxiety trigger, sufferers may find it tough to carry out certain tasks, for example driving, walking down a busy street and even stepping outside their doorway.

Not all panic attacks result from just one negative experience but this can happen. An individual who suffers from social phobia may have developed the fear of speaking in front of others, perhaps from a talk they had to give. Simply thinking about the anxiety issue may create panic symptoms.

Even the simplest of troubles may be obsessed about and blown out of proportion for those with anxiety disorders. Such severe anxiety affects a sufferer’s ability to function properly in everyday life.

Initial panic symptoms can vary from person to person but often the sufferer finds difficulty breathing and experiences an accelerated pulse. They may feel a lump in their throat and a tingling sensation down their limbs. When a sufferer begins to notice their body reacting to a certain situation, panic symptoms start.

They sense they are about to lose control. Panic sets in and there's a fine line to a full blown attack. Often the thought of an oncoming panic attack speeds up the attack. The sufferer begins to panic about panicking! The feelings can build up to an intolerable point.

Their fright, fight or flight response kicks in. In this situation the sufferer experiences hyper arousal and is in a state of panic. Escaping is not always possible. In these cases the sufferer often has to endure the panic attack. This can cause negative mental and physiological effects.

Each time the feeling of anxiety and panic may increase and panic symptoms exacerbate. Anxiety disorders can make life unbearable to live with at times. The embarrassment and dread of suffering a panic attack in public may put them off from doing everyday things such as food shopping.

Considering this, it is not hard to see why many sufferers feel completely alone. Moreover, panic symptoms differ in level and in physical conditions. Misdiagnose may occur by a doctor since many symptoms may indicate other health conditions.

Fortunately, more and more sufferers are finding alternative ways to treat and cure their anxiety disorder.
