The education system in India has improved significantly since the last century. People are more interested to study in colleges and universities and take up jobs in different organisations in both government and private sector. The education system has enabled them to be qualified to become suitable for various jobs as per their educational qualification. Facilities to study in India have improved in the last couple of decades with the coming up of world class universities so that students are able to get education which are comparable with some of the best universities of the world. With foreign universities also providing facilities for the students to study abroad, there has further been an addition to the qualifications of the students. People are increasingly going out of the country also to pursue higher education in these foreign universities. An impetus to the education system in India has been further provided by the permission to foreign universities to open their campus branches in India. A sign of improvement in the spectrum and standard of education is in the starting of a variety of courses apart from the usual streams of arts, science and commerce. There are more number of vocational courses in India related to computers and software development. These courses can be studied by people for a short period of time and also find jobs. Many courses are there in the country, which are like add-ons to the already achieved educational qualifications. Designing courses, photography courses, short course MBA, engineering courses, etc are some of the vocation based courses that can be pursued by the students to land up the best jobs in India. The concept of study abroad is being demanded nowadays also because these educational qualifications are recognised by many multinational companies, which offer the students a chance to work in these foreign based companies. This is encouraging the students from India to go to the various foreign universities and attain degrees in different courses. The prospects are widening in India also, as evident from the development in India. Due to the developmental process in various fields of infrastructure, industry, health, computers, telecommunications, etc, many foreign based companies are entering into the Indian market to tap the human resources. This is creating more jobs in India and people are finding more and more jobs in their attained educational qualifications. After studying in India, students are able to get into different types of jobs related to different fields. These are also well paid jobs and there is ample opportunity of self growth in such jobs. The bettering of the scenario is evident from the fact that many people are having more than one option to pursue a job in India, presently. This is more than encouraging for the next generation to study in India and return to India after passing from foreign universities to take up the best jobs in India.
