If the Spanish language institution in Costa Rica has a content rich website that provides a large amount of information, then this is one way to see whether the language business is credible. Also, prompt replies from the website are another way to determine whether the people from the language institution are serious about their job and their business. Try to stay away from businesses who do no t reply quickly to your questions about learning Spanish at the Costa Rican institution.

Another factor to look into is whether or not the language institution in Costa Rica offers extracurricular activities outside of school. Having extracurricular activities such as yoga, sailing and surfing is a great way to bond with other students as well as being able to practice Spanish in a â€real-world†situation.

Once you have figured out that you want study Spanish in Costa Rica, you need decide what kind of budget that you have and how much you want to spend on your Spanish language studies. The cost of living in Costa Rica is quite cheap. The value of your money will go very far, depending on the value of your home country’s currency. Take note that there are many different types of living accommodations in Costa Rica and you will generally be able to pick from a few options. Home stay accommodations mean that you will be able to stay with a Costa Rican family. If you are serious about learning Spanish, then this is your best option as you will be able to practice Spanish on a daily basis with your host family. Another benefit of living with a host family is that you won’t have to worry about meals as typical home-stay families will include meals within the price of accommodation. You can also pay for an apartment or live-in on the language institution campus (this may not be a possibility depending on the language institution).
