By: Sergei Ikar Home | Food-and-Drink | Recipes

It is time to think about summer BBQ recipes and get ready for summer barbecuing. It is necessary to keep in mind specific things while barbecuing to make sure that your party goes flawless.

Numerous meats and side dishes might be used while barbecuing. Usually beef, pork, and fish are what people cook on their grills. In your local supermarket search for meats that are already prepared for barbecuing.

For traditional side dishes, there are potato salad, beans, and coleslaw. These sides are simple to cook and store until it is time to eat and they work really well with all types of meat. Your normal condiment bar should include relish, onions, and pickles.

1. Marinating your meat prior to cooking will add flavor, but be careful with covering the meat in the barbecue sauce because it dries your meat out and may even cause it to burn. It happens as a barbecue sauce includes great amount of sugar and fat that burn easily. However gently seasoning the meat is not going to have any adverse effects and works very well.

2. Prior to you start cooking, spray your cooking area with a nonstick cooking spray. This prevents the meat from sticking when you rotate or remove it. Sticking and tearing will cause the meat to lose a lot of juice and it also may dry out.

3. Do not place meat on the grill until the heat is correct. It will cause the meat to dry out or burn because of the heat fluctuations. If you are using a charcoal grill, make sure that the coals are totally gray before setting the meat on the grill.

4. Searing your meat will lock in the juices and taste, although you will not want to cook your meat at that high temperature for the whole amount of time. After searing both sides, set the temperature to medium. It will ensure that your meat is full of flavor and tender.

5. When cooking your meat, never poke it. This will make the juice to leak out into the grill. It makes the meat dry and you as well can possibly damage your grill.
