Super Bowl Tickets: Adrenaline & Media Hype

By: Sherin dsoza Home | Recreation-and-Sports

The Super Bowl XLIV just ended on February 7 with New Orleans Saints carrying away the Championship Trophy and already speculation about the 2011 has begun. It is believed that although there were little chances of New Orleans Saints winning this game unless apocalypse arrived, they might end up winning the next one too, given their boosted confidence and fervor. If you are interested in being a part of the adrenaline rush at the stadium, procure your Super Bowl tickets immediately.

Super Bowl Tickets: Celebrity Fun facts
Statistics prove that the Super Bowl XLIV claimed 153.4 million viewers in the United States alone. Therefore, it is no wonder this American football institution receives the highest media coverage. One of the main reasons for the media attention is the over-discussions, skirmishes between celebrities and disputes between the football icons which accompany the Super Bowl every year. Celebrity involvement itself can keep the fans glued to their television sets or gossip columns for days. In fact, the CBS is said to have sold all the commercial seats for advertising at the big game, suggesting that it is not just the Super Bowl tickets but also the game commercials that are in demand.

Some of the fun involved with the Super Bowl XLIV included:

* Chris Daughtry, Steve Winwood as well as Queen Latifah performed at the pre-game tailgate party. Queen Latifah performed America the Beautiful while Carrie Underwood sang the National Anthem.

* The eve of the event saw Alligator Alley perform in a free outdoor concert which included spectacular fireworks at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.

Here are a couple of fun facts that might interest the die-hard fans of the game:

* Most of the young head coaches acquired their reputation by following a coaching-exclusive pathway. Saints coach, Sean Payton, on the contrary, added playing credentials too. His career began and ended with Chicago Bears in 1987. He played in three games, attempting 23 passes in total. His career QB score was below 30.

* The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings made four trips to the game till date but never managed to bag the trophy. The San Francisco 49ers made five trips and never lost.
