Take Care Of Your Dog In The Right Way By Giving It The Right Food

By: Richard Anderson Home | Home-and-Family | Pets

With all the expensive home-made dog food, you must be thinking that your job of taking care of your pet's diet is done. But I am sorry to say, it’s not. Your dog does not need all that unnecessary fats, carbohydrates and sugar. And neither does it need those artificial nutrients, which are added to the artificial dog food (available in the market) to compensate for the natural nutrients they lack. These artificial nutrients along with harmful preservatives (the artificial dog foods have them in huge quantities), prove to be more harmful than beneficial for your dog.

What you need to realize is your four-legged friend needs natural dog food. Remember, originally they have been carnivorous animals that survived on animal flesh. This gave them the right amount of fats, carbohydrates and all other nutrients that kept them healthy and happy from dawn to dusk.

As it was, so it is. The natural dog food is the actual healthy dog food. What our pet dogs have started consuming today is just because we have made them live the way we live. In the name of hygiene and gourmet food, we have changed the definition of healthy dog food from natural animal flesh to vegetarian biscuits with artificial nutrients and low quality, dry and tasteless meat and bones.

So, you need to take care of the food you give to your furry friend. After all, he is special to you. Please, do not go by attractive packaging or extravagant advertisements while choosing your dog food. Either go for an extensive research work or take suggestions and advice from experts about the brands that are well known for providing healthy dog food.

The first guiding force for you while choosing the brand for your dog food should be to ensure that the product they supply is free from harmful artificial preservatives. After this, you must check the quality of the organic treats they provide. Organic treats are the replacement for the raw animal flesh that dogs need. Although artificially made, they must be rich in meat and eggs. If they are vegetarian, they must be rich in cereals like oats and healthy vegetables like carrots and spinach. Low quality organic treats have, in place of the real constituents, only harmful, artificial flavors and hence, should be avoided at all costs.

You also get a variety of bones and bully sticks in market but most of them are low quality dry ones, derived from animals suffering from malnutrition. Your dog wants them all juicy and healthy. So, try to find the brand which has its bones and bully sticks, a stamp of quality check from the authority.

If you don't know where to go to get the right kind of healthy dog food, you can go to Molly's in the Doghouse. As an expert of dog care, they have the most healthy dog foods. In addition, for you to celebrate that special day when your most lovable friend came in to your life, they also have dog bakery products like biscuits, flavored bones and pies. To contact them, please visit mollysinthedoghouse.

We know you love your dog. What we are trying is help you love it and care for it in the right way.
