Targeting The More Educated Market In Color Brochures

By: Leah Delaney Home | Business | Advertising

There are specific products and services that are aimed for an educated crowd or consumer market. In these situations, your brochure printing must be precisely attuned to attract and engage that market since typically they are the rich professionals with high paying jobs. Keep in mind that it is not just the brochure template that will help you create a good design for these more educated people. It is how you compose your content and the style by which you develop your brochure printing. So let me give you some start-up tips in targeting that more educated crowd with your full color brochures.

1. Use a topic that they are concerned †Most well-educated people are concerned with more than just the price of a product or service. They are actually concerned with the value and the effects that that product has in store for them. Others are even concerned with the environmental implications of a product especially if there are chemicals or processes inherent in the product that has some significant impact in the environment.

You will have to consider these and other important issues or topics as you market to these more well educated people with your color brochures. The more you address these concerns in your content, the better your brochures ill be in marketing to them.

2. Display a professional and meaningful image †Well educated or wiser people can typically see through those flashy and spectacle-driven images. In fact, most don’t trust overly commercialized images as they know it is a compensation for the weaknesses of certain products and services.

So if you are targeting these picky people, you will want to use images that are more professional and meaningful. Instead of just showing images of beautiful models, you might want to put some real artistry into each shot or graphic that looks really modern and innovative. Use images with a REAL story behind it, be it a funny one or a poignant one. The more meaningful it is, the more respect and attention your wiser target market will give to you.

3. Be careful with the choice of art style †In terms of the theme and the art style of your color brochure, you have to be careful and not to copy too much on other types of color brochures. It is important that you pay attention to the popular style, while at the same time using your own creative imagination. Try to always add on to the popular themes of today’s custom brochures so that your own design will look like an impressive natural evolution to color brochure design. This might be hard, but by just pushing the boundaries of the prevailing popular art style, you should be able to pull this off.

4. Be detailed with your content †Most wider and more well-educated people look for the details and facts. They are not driven by those exciting words and slogans easily. You must present them with the detailed facts in your brochure content to be convinced about your product or service. So make sure you out in all the important information within your custom brochures.

5. Give them some REAL benefits †Finally, always try to give or explain to them some real benefits when reading your color brochures. This might be in the form of an insight into the product, a tutorial about some important process or maybe even just some tips and tricks that they can try out. This allows your color brochures to become a useful tool that people will definitely want to keep.

Now you know how to target those more well-educated markets with your color brochures. It is very simple really so you don’t have to sweat this out too much.
