In Testosterone Enanthate, testosterone comes attached with a slow-acting ester, Enanthate, which helps to delay Testosterone release into the bloodstream over several days. Its release time is between 8-10 days.

Testosterone Enanthate helps in protecting your muscle catabolic waste, and helps muscle cells to store more protein. It increases erythropoiesis in your kidney. It helps in maintaining the bone density and strength as well. It is often used by bodybuilders and athletes. It is usually anywhere between once every week to once every three weeks, though some users inject it twice a week.

However, there are several side effects associated with Testosterone Enanthate. Its overdoses usually cause the usual side effects associated that are associated with Testosterone. Testosterone Enanthate side effects include hair loss, acne, gynecomastia and eventual surcease of the body's natural production of testosterone. Most of these Testosterone Enanthate side effects are cause due to the conversion of Testosterone into Dihydrotestosterone and estrogen. Some other side effects may include retention of water, nausea, jaundice, alterations in liver functions, increased or decreased libido, headache, anxiety, and depression.

Testosterone Enanthate side effects make the drug stand among the Schedule III drugs in the United States. However, it is available under doctors' prescription. Testosterone Enanthate gives the best results in men if it is used 250-1000mg/week. It is not recommended for women.
