Tests Of Creative Thinking In The Workplace

We all know that reativity is the best source for problem identification, innovation and generating ideas. You can make the power of creativity stronger through the tests of creative thinking. Everyone is an individual, whilst one person may be better in a particular area than another, the other may be better in a differnt area.These tests will be able to give you a better idea of what your business is built around, especially if you are overseeing anyone that needs to be creative to flourish in your organization.

There are so many different ways, and tests of creative thinking that you could implement into your organization to see just how well your business is doing. If you want your company bursting with creativity then these tests are a must. Here are some ways that you could use to make sure your business is as creative as it should be.

1. Employee interviews - During the interview process with future employees there are a number of things you should be looking for. Someone who is not afraid, and is able to voice their opinions, and are secure enough to do so. You should also be looking for someone who can persuade anyone into their way of thinking, even those stubborn seniors. Be on the lookout for someone who wont back down on their ideas. You may find that there may be a bit of friction sometimes, but these people are our future leaders. Someone who is outspoken enough to give their opinions on a subject and not worrying what others think is the person you should be employing.

2. Personality conflicts - It could be a clear indication that your organization could be heading in the wrong direction if you experience suppression instead of expression of ideas in your workplace. It may be an idea to make sure that the juniors are not feeling like the seniors are constantly watching them or waiting for them to make a mistake. By making sure that your seniors are not putting a damper on you juniors creativity you can ensure that you have a much more creative workforce.

In order for your employees to be creative they are going to need the right tools. In meetings provide them with notebooks, and use a whiteboard. You will be surprised at the amount of creative ideas your workforce will come up with whilst looking back over old notes.

Having fun in the workplace is a must. There are so many employees today that complain that meetings are too long, or too boring, how can you expect them to be creative in this atmosphere. By bringing fun into the meeting room is just one of the many ways you can create some creativity in your business.

Look for new ways for employees to do the same old jobs. Why not change the way they answer the phone or arrange the office. You should always be on the lookout for new ways you can implement creativity in your organization.

Remember if you want your business to go from strength to strength you need to have a creative atmosphere. You should actively keep looking for tests of creative thinking (there are plenty out there), if you want your organization to keep growing.
