With an automatic garage door you do not have to worry about security issues as much because many of these can be addressed through automation. With an automatic garage door there are also disadvantages you have to consider. The first of these is obviously the cost that you will have to incur. Yes, ladies and gents, they do not come cheap compared to a normal manual door. The next problem with automatic doors is when they dont work! Although this is not common it will happen. When this does occur you will have to call in an engineer which could be very expensive and you will also have to find an alternative in the mean time.These are all issues you will have to address and consider when you decide whether or not to buy an automatic garage door. Whatever choice you make, make sure you are not just aware of what you get with the purchase, you also have to be sure you know what level of support you will attain after the sale.
