If you were to sit down with a pencil and paper and write down virtually every venue, method, option, etc that exists where a person can buy a car, the list can quickly become quite long. Of course the first one that comes to mind would be an established dealership. Every town has at least one of them and it seems that it will always be that way. However; over the course of these most recent years, several new car buying options have popped up on the radar screen. Police auctions and various Internet sources are some of the most recent but more efficient long range communications has made buying a car or truck from even distant local’s one more of today's options. Through it all though, the local established dealership continues to thrive. So then just what is it that has allowed this to happen, when it seems that hoards of entrepreneurs are so obsessed with coming up with some and hopefully better option. After all, so many other traditional brick & mortar businesses have been rendered obsolete by the Internet and new age creative marketers. There are several benefits of buying from an established dealership, beginning with the good old fashioned test drive. You see, buying a car or truck without test driving first it is akin to going out on a blind date. You simply run the risk of ending up with some shortcoming that you could have easily detected if you just could have had the chance to do so. Another thing that has to be taken into account is the fact that your local established dealership has a reputation to maintain and uphold. The importance of a good local reputation for honesty and customer service is something that can never be replaced and all local dealerships must have one of they are to stay in business. Still yet, one more item that a local dealership will be able to provide is a service center. Like it or not, any car or truck that you buy will at the very least need standard maintenance done on it and this is where the service center that your local dealership has will prove invaluable. They know the make because that is what they sell. Lastly, at your local established dealership you'll be able to deal â€one on one†with a (real human) and this is something that shouldn't ever be under rated. Go ahead and scout around other faceless entities for a deal on a car or truck and you just never know who you're really dealing with. Me personally, I just couldn't car shop this way because I simply very much prefer talking to a human face when I'm looking to spend that kind of money.
