An all new alternative to cigarette smoking, called the electronic cigarette, is rapidly grabbing the attention of smokers all over the country with the many advantages it seems to have over traditional tobacco. The electronic cigarette is the hot topic amongst smokers right now raising questions about how it exactly works and whether or not the experience really is akin to smoking an actual cigarette. You may have seen or heard about them, but in case you haven’t, the electronic cigarette is simply a small, cylindrical device that resembles an actual cigarette and utilizes advanced micro technology to instantly turn liquid nicotine into an odorless vapor very similar to smoke. For those curious about how the e cigarette works, the concept is fairly simple and it can be broken down into three main components. The e cig is powered by a rechargeable battery that makes up about two-thirds of the electronic cigarette’s total length. The battery powers a small piece of technology called an â€atomizerâ€, which typically screws onto the end of the battery. The last piece needed to complete the e cigarette is the cartridge, which contains the liquid nicotine solution. Once everything is in place, the user simply inhales off of the cartridge, which triggers the atomizer to vaporize the liquid within the cartridge. Once the user begins inhaling, they instantly enjoy generous amounts of thick vapor, along with the nicotine to satisfy as well. It is a process that many have claimed feels as natural as smoking an actual cigarette, with the two experiences being practically indiscernible. There are however a few differences that you will detect when using the electronic cigarette, the first of which being that the e cig’s vapor is completely odorless and does not leave a smell on anything, including the person using the e cig. The vapor produced by the e cigarette is extremely passive and immediately dissipates after being expelled by the user. In fact, because the only byproduct of the electronic cigarette is vapor, the e cigarette can be used practically anywhere, regardless of smoking bans and restrictions. That simple freedom alone has made millions of smokers instantly become e cigarette users without ever looking back, but people all over are finding reasons why they personally enjoy the e cigarette.
