The Fire Hazards In Our Lives

By: Aydan Corkern Home |

In our lives today, we are surrounded by all kinds of fire hazards in our homes, offices, and even on the street. In our homes, you have the common ones like the frayed wires, overloaded extension cords, or bad electrical wiring in the homes walls. Clothes being thrown too close to open fires like your chimney fires or just someone standing too close. Standing and knocking over that candle that you have burning over by a window to help you celebrate this holiday season.

In your office at work or at home, you usually have a lot of extension cords running over the floors to plug in your Christmas tree or all of the other decorations that might need to be plugged in, and you will have all of your employees walking over these cords making them worn, which can start a fire. These buildings might have some bad wiring in their walls as well. If you are out on the street, you will also see all of the decorations for the holiday season and all of the lights on the poles and the big tree in the time square, but the main thing that you have to worry about here are the cars and their drivers.

With the holiday seasons, the one that is now over and the one coming, you will have to worry about all of these drivers having too much to drink and going out to drive and having accidents that will start on fire. These kinds of fires are some of the biggest hazards that we have to deal with in our everyday life even if we aren't in these accidents. With the increase of car accidents, the cost in our premiums will keep going up, and if this keeps happening, some people will have to go find cheaper insurance through a different company because of this reason.

There are so many different things that you can say are fire hazards, and some of them we don't even realize are hazards until it's too late and the fire was started and you are doing your best to get to safety. If you even think an item looks to be a hazard, then you need to make sure that you do whatever it takes to make sure that this doesn't become one. If you can keep from having so many different hazards around you, then you will have a much safer life.
