It has become more and more evident that the vast majority of businesses assume that you only have to put up your web-site and people will automatically want to see what you are selling. On top of that, there is a great deal of ignorance in regard to how the search engines find your site, may I digress for a second and tell you about an 'Article Writing Internet Marketing' seminar that we attended with Neil Stafford and Neil Travers, two of the UK's top Internet Marketers, now multi-millionnaires. I remember someone asking the question 'What was their biggest regret when starting their internet business?' without hesitation Neil Stafford replied 'I regret that we didn't start article writing sooner in the building of our internet business - we would have been up and running a lot sooner!' So what's so important about article writing? I can tell you I have been doing article writing for some time now and the results are not only long lasting but the most effective way to drive targetted traffic to your website and increase your levels of sales through articles submissions. One of the best reasons for article writing is that it is basically free apart from costing you a bob or two to get those articles published (incidentally we use www.submityourarticle.com ) this enables your articles to be distributed across a large network of quality publishers and gives you great exposure as an expert in your niche, building customer confidence. It also builds links which attract customers from other sites. As usual many of us don't understand that there is a clear format in article writing and wonder why they don't achieve the desired results - I'll hopefully show you the correct way to do that, so that publishers will publish every article that you send to them. Remember let's do it the right way - not wasting time and money and reap the massive benefits of article writing. Finally, the key element of article writing is that it should be a story that is factual about your product - it shouldn't openly promote the product with sales jargon, any sales encouragements should be included in the author's resource box, which should also contain a short autobiography and a link back to the author's website, where he will find details on pricing etc. As in blog writing the article should contain keywords which fit in naturally with the article and the title keywords should occur in the first 60 words and thereafter fitting them into the context of the story of the article. May I again emphasis the importance of not making your article a sales letter - it will undoubtedly be rejected by the publishers. Just keep to the facts and try and intertwine a story. You don't need to be a gifted writer, article writing is done by ordinary regular people who want to drive traffic to their websites, and increase their search engine rankings. So lets make a start!
