Web stores also have the ability to sell you the clothes for less money because they don’t have to pat the overhead costs of running a traditional store. Since they don’t need to pay rent and utilities, they are able to pass those savings on to you. Vintage fashion is easy to mix and match or layer for the very specific look you are trying to achieve. Vintage style clothes are such fun to play with and create very unique looks that are all your own. You can pair items that are considered vintage with clothes that are not or you can add funky accessories to the clothing you wear everyday. With so many options available you can play with so many different looks and even take on a different look every day of the week. If you buy them second hand, always remember to check for dry rot in the fabric and make sure the elastic still stretches out and flexes back like it should. Often clothing that doesn’t get used and washed regularly the fabric and the elastic can become very dry and tear or crack rendering the article of clothing useless. Of course if you purchase your vintage style clothes from a reputable store, they are new and dry rot should never be an issue. The clothing sold in local and online stores are new, not used, unless the store or website says they are used clothing.
