The Samsung B3310 Black was in a previous incarnation, Pink. It is a phone which has been available for some time and now is reborn in a new colour variation. The phone offers excellent functionality with a stylish casing. It offers a few surprises as well, such as the slide out QWERTY keyboard on offer, which simply glides out from behind the display screen. The phones display screen is a 2.0 inch TFT screen which can display 256,000 colours whilst offering a screen pixel size of 240 x 320 pixels. Colour representation is excellent with clarity of image that is hard to match. The functions are accessed via a navigation button which is on the front face A 2 megapixel camera is part of the phones offering which happens to have a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. At that resolution the camera can take effective snap shots whilst out and about. For those who prefer video recording and playback, this is also available at QVGA quality. As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone comes with GPRS and EDGE, both of which are class 10. Whilst the additional options of Blue tooth and microUSB are available. This enables the user to share files with suitably enabled phones and synchronise with other devices. Additional features included within the phone are an MP3/MP4 player and FM radio with RDS as well as an organiser and voice memo facility. From an entertainment viewpoint, the ability to download music and video files and listen at your own leisure is crucial for a modern day mobile phone. The memo facility and organiser are worthwhile additions which are useful in their own ways. The Samsung B3310 Black measures 91 mm x 54 mm wide. It is 17 mm thick, by virtue of the fact that it includes a built in slide out QWERTY keyboard. It is 101 grams in weight. The phone is an excellent mobile phone which has just enough functionality to make it a viable option for anyone looking for affordability and reasonable specification.
