The Simple Website Title Keeper

By: T. Detty Home | Internet-and-Business | SEO

It can be very easy to get caught up in the terminology of your particular field of work. Depending on what your website is about and how many complex terms that are used to discuss and write about, some may or may not understand these words very well.

The reason I mention this is because you may end up having many new visitors who come to your site in search of something and they’re not exactly sure what to click on because they are not sure if it’s going to take them where they want to go or not.

You could make the argument that you want to look very refined and use large words to prove to all that you know what you’re talking about. So, this is part of what you will have to take into consideration depending on what direction you want your site to be pointed in.

If you’re looking to pull in many, many visitors and to increase the rate of your conversion, you may find the experiment of keeping things simple will help other newbies to navigate throughout your website very easily.

One great point to throw in here is that your sitemap should be the simplest page on your website. If you don’t have a sitemap, I highly suggest that you get one. This page should not have anything on it except exactly what is needed. One of the points of this page is to make it very simple for the visiting client to easily find the information they are looking for.

It needs to remain simple for the search engines and the crawling bots. It also needs to remain simple for the people that are coming to visit the site and just simply want to find what it is they are looking for. Most people I know hate wasting their time on the computer.

They hate wasting their time on the computer especially after they realized that they had to wallow around in the gunk for hours just to find what they were looking for. If we all are trying to make the website more user friendly for others, I think we need to remind ourselves form time to time that there are many users out there who are first timers and need a little bit of simpleness in there life.

If we as web administrators can add to the pool of market shares that are already here and continue to increase the amount every day, simpleness in your website is the key. There are still so many people out there who don’t use computers or go to websites all that much because sometimes the computer has somehow become full of viruses and they don’t know how to fix them.

There are so many frustrating items in some users lives and the last thing that they need id to complicate it with a busy website that makes it difficult to find information. Some websites that have already built up a large following will not have to worry as much about these kinds of things.

So, I would like to encourage you to take a look at your websites and other websites. Put yourself in the shoes of others if you can and try to think about what you would like to see if you were just coming to this website for the first time and needed things to be very simple and organized.
