The Sixth Sense Of Pets And Animals Predict The Impending Disaster

By: angelaseo Home | Home-and-Family | Pets

It has been believed by many people that animals have a keen sense to predict the imminent disasters such as earth quake, storms etc. They got personal experience and have innumerable stories about the predicting ability of their pets regarding the dangerous storms, earth quake and tsunami. Their pets can sense the disaster far before it starts. Their behaviors got sudden changes and they acted really crazy.

There is something interesting on December 26th though it caused major disaster due to tsunami. Even if it results several death and large course of destruction, scientists have reported an amazing low loss of wildlife. We got the information from the photographer saying that he never seen any animal corpses as he flew over the wildlife reserve and he found it keeps only active wild animals. Another amazing fact is that the flood waters traveled till 2miles inland into the wildlife reserve. A wildlife park hotel was destroyed completely causing by the tsunami waves, trees uprooted, many human lives had been swollen but again they did not find any dead animals, not even a rabbit. This made many people to think that the animals may have sensed the impending high tide and traveled to higher grounds accordingly.

Many theories advice that the animal’s sharp skill of awareness is a kind of sixth sense and this may have alerted them to the approaching of tsunami. It could even be something as simple as the sense of hearing the sound of approaching wave while it was far enough away to give them adequate time to get into the higher ground. It has been believed that the animals are able to pick up the changing air pressure or on resulting vibrations as well. Even though many scientists have suspected that the animals had a sixth sense towards the natural disaster, it is always hard to confirm as it is not something cane be tested in a lab setting.

We can highlight one more incident happened in the Los Angeles which made us personally experienced the sixth sense of animals and birds and it was during the whittier earthquake in the year of 1987. One of our friends has his African grey parrot at home. He kept the parrot in a large cage. Around 30 seconds before he felt the earth quake, his parrot went really crazy. It started screaming and jumping about in the cage to get out. The action was so severe that it had broken its wing feather including its blood feathers and it started bleeding. Another friend who stays in the same area got his pet dog. The dog also reacted strange before the arrival of the earth quake. He stood under the door frame which is the safest area during a quake.

However, pets don’t always predict all the impending dangers. Some times they may not be able to. Its completely depends upon the specific signal that the impending disaster sends out before it starts. Few warning signals may be recognized by the animals and birds and few may not be. This would perhaps inspire the scientists to study the phenomena further. Someday, it will help to recognize the impending disaster before its starts which would save many of the human lives.
