If there is one group of light bars that you should avoid at all cost is the cheapest models you can find. There is a reason these light bars are very cheap. They are not worth very much. They may look like they can suit your needs, but more often than not they are made up of sub par components, cheap materials, and the companies that back them are not very well known. It is rarely a good idea to discount a product based on the price alone, but when it comes to emergency lighting, it is usually a good idea to just ignore this group. Just as there some guidelines on features you should look for when purchasing light bars, there are some things that you should also learn to avoid. The more experience you get shopping for light bars and the more different products you see, you will understand that the above points are very important.
