Their canister models have evolved from already premium engineered models, offering new features and state of the art technology. Take a look at the leading models and what they have to offer. The Hoover Telios Straight Suction Canister Model S3332 is a portable unit designed for easy mobility to small jobs. The 18-foot cord lets you move around a room without having to stop and unplug while using the wand to quickly vacuum up dust and dirt from furniture and corners. One major complaint among reviews is the inadequate attachment of tools to the wand. Placement from metal to plastic is not designed well enough for the two to stay together while working. This model is not designed for heavy work but has a 12 AMP motor; just the same, the $100 price tag is not bad for the convenience. Hoover's Duros Power Canister Model S3590 weighs in at 21.7 pounds and acts as both a floor model and a portable. Constructed of steel, this model is not going to wear out. The 12 AMP motor is very quiet and the HEPA bag system makes this model perfect for use in homes with pets and small children for eliminating hair and germs. The telescopic handle reaches into tight spots but consumers report that the metal tubes make reaching laborious because of the weight. If the Constellation had a retractable cord, the price would be very well accepted at $230 to $250. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Bagged Canister Anniversary Edition Model S3670 is an extension of the popular Wind Tunnel upright with many of the same features and more. 24 pounds is all this great unit weighs and contains a 25-foot rewinding cord. An 84 inch hose reaches every corner in the house but there are complaints that it easily kinks and is not flexible enough for regular use. Still, this product can be used for floors with a motor-driven brush power head that can be set at different speeds, a 360-degree hose swivel, and great edge cleaning brushes. The completely sealed system guarantees that dirt only goes into the HEPA bag for cleaner air. A full bag indicator lets you know when it needs changed. Top of the Hoover line at $265 to $350, this model could use some engineering improvement but one of the best on the market. There is a Hoover model for your personal preference and the examples above give you a very good feel for which one would work best for you.
