The worst disease from which the human beings have suffered for decades is drug addiction and still people are suffering from this. Millions of people get addicted to some kind of drugs every year; few of which try their best and get away from the addiction and several others die. The number of deaths due to drug addiction that has been recorded so far is innumerable. Govt. of several countries tried their best to stop people from taking addicted to drugs by banning several lethal drugs, but they failed. Whenever the govt. banned any addiction drug, the addicts shifted to something else to continue with their addiction. Among them, some addicted people realize the effects and leave the addiction by getting admitted in a drug addiction treatment center. Leaving drug addiction is not an easy task; it can be done only if an addicted person seeks proper medical help in any drug addiction treatment center. Not all drug addicted person realizes the effects of drug addiction; the percentage of such people is very less. In most cases, the close people of the drug addicted person take the addicts to the rehab centers. The concept of drug intervention comes very helpful in such situations; sometimes this intervention forces the drug addicted person to leave the drug addiction. But, that is a very rare case; intervention does not work if any person gets deeply addicted to any kind of drugs. The only way to help such people who are deeply addicted to drugs is treatment in a drug rehab center. The various treatments carried on in the rehab centers are extremely helpful in curing the drug addicted patients. Drug addiction treatment is a complicated process and only the well renowned and effective drug addiction treatment centers can attempt all the treatments necessary for curing the patients. The drug detox program performed during the drug addiction treatment is one of the most important treatment processes. The detoxification process is a difficult process, but it helps the patients a lot if properly done. Drug detox is a type of treatment in which all the toxic drug particles are eliminated from the body of the drug addicted patient by certain medicinal processes. This drug detoxification program is attempted is almost all drug rehab centers. Besides the drug detox programs, there are several other medicinal treatment processes which are essential for the treatment process. Medicinal treatment is often considered as the first part of the total drug addiction treatment process; after which comes the need of care and comfort for the patients. During or after the medicinal treatment process, the withdrawal effects of drug addiction show up. These withdrawal effects of drug addiction are so painful that the patients cannot even bear them. It has also been observed in certain cases that the patients run away from the rehabilitation centers, being unable to tolerate the pain of the withdrawal effects. In such situations, the drug addicted patients need immense care and medical support to deal with the pain of the withdrawal effects of drug addiction.
