Over the past five years, I've often spoken about the power of words and that the words that you speak predict your future. You are exactly where you are in life today based on what you have spoken into existence. One word that has been a very powerful part of my individual (personal) life is *MENTOR* I want to break down the true meaning behind the word 'Mentor' for you. Mentor broken down basically means -- *Tour Guide* - - When you go on a vacation you often say,'I don't want to waste my time, I don't want to get lost, I don't want to get stuck out in nowhere land, so I am going to hire a tour guide - some one that has been there over and over and over and over in life... They can guide me through the mountains, they can guide me through the canyons, they can guide me through the Everglades in Florida, because they are professional Tour Guide." (A Tour Mentor) You pay them to tour you through where you want to go and take advantage of the beautiful scenery and the beautiful environment. For Example - Let's say you wish to take a tour of the North Carolina Mountains Your ears would perk up when you hear this...'I am expert in the mountains of North Carolina.' That means they can charge you a fee to guide you through the mountains. That is what a Mentor is all about. Who is guiding you through an area you have never been to before? It's the exact same with the Land of Success (aka Promised Land), you must be guided by someone that has been through the exact thing you are going through on your journey. Not similar to or took a course on or read a book about, but someone who has been through where you are right now. That is why I am considered one of the top strategic business coaches in the world because of the adversity I have been through. I can take people by the hand and guide them through the process so they don't lose their mind or get stuck in a rut in life. That is why you need a guide...You have to have a MENTOR!I am going to ask you again...Who is your mentor? Just close your eyes and imagine that you are skiing in Colorado and don't want to get lost or risk your life.What do you do? You hire a tour guide. Stop risking your success Today! Stop risking the fulfillment of your dream! Stop rolling the dice or taking a chance on the achievement of your goal. Decide today to have a Mentor. Make sure you have someone you are accountable to.
