The gay community has seen an increase in the number of exclusively gay tour operators that have started to appear in and around Europe. One of the up and coming countries to offer an exclusive gay experience is, maybe surprisingly, Turkey. If you plan on venturing outside of your resort an excursion is a good way of finding your bearings and finding out what the local area has to offer to your gay holiday experience. Turkey has a growing number of gay restaurants and bars, which means that gay people or couples can feel entirely comfortable in the Turkish surroundings and giving them the freedom to relax and enjoy their holiday. Many gay holiday tour operators will allow you to customize your holiday experience. Once you have booked your accommodation you can set out to find the best deal in terms of flights and airport transfers. This gives you full flexibility on being able to find the airport closest to you. You can also opt for local car hire rather than organized airport transfers, so you could have your car for the duration of your stay in Turkey.
