By: trinity smith Home | Home-and-Family | Pets

A latest innovation in pet gadgetry has expanded and is expanding still. Now, in terms of dog containment, underground pet fence is in. It is mainly an electronic containment system specially designed to discipline dogs in their physical limitation around your yard. Since most pet dogs do not feel comfortable being caged or tied for too long while home alone, underground pet fence assures them freedom to play around the yard while still being kept safe inside the invisible wireless fence around it.

The underground pet fence has major advantage on both the pet and the owner. Why? For the pet’s part, of course chains, ropes, or cages which dogs hate are no longer needed to keep him in tact. Besides, who wouldn’t want his pet joyfully playing around rather gloomy around the corner? Also, ordinary fences make your area smaller thus the dog has less space for exercise.

For the owner’s part, dog containment systems give your dog the necessary restraint without you expending too much for a fence. Normal fences are sometimes ineffective because they can be jumped over or dug under. So it is economical and practical at the same time. What is more, invisible underground fence are wise buys and being underground will not cover the beauty of your house!

Wondering how this awesome device works? It is simple. When a dog approaches the fence, it produces a warning tone. Then if the pet continues two seconds later, the device transmits a signal to the collar placed around its neck. The collar then gradually emits a harmless electric pulse. Do not worry, the pulse is guaranteed safe and painless. But it is required that system installation is limited to be around puppies not younger than sixteen to twenty weeks of age. In the event that the dog insists to cross the underground pet fence, the system automatically levels the pulse higher to prevent the dog from running away.

Dogs are naturally very noisy hyperactive; they would cross the street and run over other home’s yard or chase some kids. Now you can get away from home, go to the office, drop by the grocery, or do other stuffs that you normally do without worrying that your pet has gone away and did those naughty stunts. The underground pet fence will do the trick as it teaches the dog his basic do’s and don’ts rule.
