Do you know that there are no less than sixty seconds in one minute? But lately one of the IDT companies announced that a lot of companies, that provide phone cards, propose just 36 seconds in exchange of 60. IDT in juristic acts against a number of their rivals announced that it is difficult to vie on a level playing field when a minute is not a minute. IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) company decided to sue the different corporations-providers of prepaid phone cards for the unjust rivalry conditions on a telephone services market. That is difficult to realize, but several dishonest card developers give just approximately 60 percent of minutes, that were paid for. Last year Total Call International and IDT/UTA was blamed for illegitimate procedures by the group of phone corporations which comprised IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. This brings to four the amount of defendant groups which have settled the enforcement proceedings commenced by IDT/UTA before, this year. Today there is a roll of other accused includes about six companies and some of them are: Epana Networks Inc., Dollar Phone Corp., etc.. IDT/UTA's lawsuit against the residuary defendants is still continuing in federal court in Newark, New Jersey. Not long ago, one of softswitch developers released his new terms of paying the phone facilities. One of the features he takes pride in was the ability to determine the length of the minute to as long as you want. Another feature was to stochastically deduct a minute from your balance. Moreover, they said that these rules are not their invention, but are the rules for all call card companies. It is true, because reviewing all the new advertising notices we can see the identical information. So when you see a international phone card for $20.00 with 2000 minutes and you realize that it is so good to be true - maybe it is! But don't forget to choose the calling card properly, and make sure that you get the amount of units that you pay for. The good news is that the corporations mentioned above agreed to deliver 100 percent of the minutes prescribed to client. If the companies, prosecuted by the judicial authority, accepted the proposal faster, they would have a chance to be excluded from the roll of lawbreakers. They have to approve the offered rules to make the rivalry between the telecommunication card service companies truly fair and reasonable. They would try to make the systems for checking the capability of pay beforehand calling cards to give the number of minutes promised for private destinations. The contracting parties agreed to promote the useful tracing system free for everyone that wants to check the actions.
