Using Anti Glare Screens

Today’s modern office worker will spend many hours working on a personal computer or laptop. Although this can cause problems in itself, the glare on a computer screen can cause many additional difficulties. This shine can cause many issues for a computer user such as sore eyes, eye strain and headaches; it also makes it difficult to see the screen properly and can adversely affect the user’s ability to successfully complete their tasks.

This glare can come from a variety of sources and though some of them can easily be dealt with by investing in additional office supplies or stationery.

It is also possible to take action by other means. The glare from a window can be dealt with simply by moving the computer to a location where the light will not reflect on the screen.

Non-reflective paint on office walls can also help with the reduction of screen shimmer.

The position of lights and lamps can also help overcome these glare problems and can actually help improve the ambience of an office. By removing any lighting sources from directly in front of the screen, can help with workstation issues.

However, there are occasions when light sources cannot be directly removed or amended. In these cases office supplies such as anti glare computer screens are invaluable.

These screens filter out much of the light and glare reflected onto a computer screen and they are easily attached to the computer with Velcro or hanging mechanisms.

Once attached, these screens should be kept clean in order to avoid problems such as finger print marks and smears being a distraction to the user.
