When working in a studio, to make use of artificial photographic light, photographers mostly utilize flash light units and tungsten bulbs as the equipment needed. Tungsten bulbs can cause quite a high temperature so they are even called â€hot lights’. As far as the photographs are concerned, with a tungsten bulb, more red is created in the picture and lesser blue. Simply putting it, tungsten bulbs are ideal to bring out the warm colors in photographs. On the other hand, when it comes to freezing an action within a photograph, the high flash speed of flash light units prove useful. When it comes to creating hard and soft photographic light effects, once again various studio lighting or illumination kits can be used for the purpose. To spread light evenly in a picture a soft lighting effect can be used, while for the addition of harsh shadows and contrast, hard lighting effects can prove ideal.
