Winter clothing is made of materials which are capable of protecting a person from cold conditions. These could be made from natural or man-made fabrics and might also have additional padding of the warmth inducing materials, like the cotton or polyfils. Bicycle clothing: You would have often seen the bicyclers wearing the body hugging clothing. This helps them to move fast by cutting down the resistance offered by the air while cycling against it. The hand gloves and the footwear play an important part while cycling. Special gloves and footwear allow for better protection, grip and guidance of motion. Rock climbing and mountaineering: This is another famous outdoor sporting activity which is taken by the people. This adventure sport requires that the clothing shall be tolerant of occasion scratches and rub offs that might be encountered against the rocks. You also need to have extremely gripping and special shoes as well as quality merino wool socks which can protect you from the cold of the higher altitudes. There can numerous similar sports where clothing has a special role to play. Depending on the peculiarities of each sport and the associated climate where this is to be held, there can be many different types of special clothing.
