Vibration Fitness Machines- How Do They Work?

By: Melissa Ryan Home | Health-and-Fitness | Exercise

The two major concerns with any one's weight loss journey in our modern fast-paced world where time is gold and multi-tasking is the norm. What we eat and what we do throughout our day physically. This applies to exercise also. It is very important to exercise everyday to activate our muscles to burn calories. The world is smitten by passive exercise. It is gaining popularity to new proponents. And among them vibration platform training is the one that is supported by many, even celebrities like Madonna and Kylie Minogue.

As we all want and dream of a well-toned body, there are certain questions that generally arise in our minds when we think about vibration training. What is the vibration platform? Does the work- out on the platform really make any difference to the rate of burning calories?

The answer to these questions is yes- training on vibration fitness machines really works as it leads to the involuntary movements of the muscles and that to by just standing on it. In comparing with a voluntary movement workout only about 30% of a body muscle fiber is recruited. If we use vibration plates activating those involuntary responses leads to the usage nearly up to 80% of all body muscle fibers.

Our body vibrates every single moment it pumps blood. Hence, vibration is essential for our blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. But what is lymphatic drainage?

The lymphatic system is a network of ducts and nodes that drains toxins out of the muscles in the body. These nodes play a significant role in our immune system. The lymphatic system heavily relies on muscle activity. Exercise increases muscle activity and stimulates these nodes to pump and to have an uninterrupted blood flow. Better blood circulation means better distribution of essential immunity components to the cells in our muscles. The Russian Space Institute, the European Space Agency and NASA came up with various vibration equipment to counter Muscle Atrophy and eventually, after which, the WBV (Whole Body Vibration) machines were introduced to us.

Most vibration fitness machines have a platform where you can stand on. This platform generates the vibration and transmits the intensity and the motion throughout the body. Look for the right WBV machine that is efficient and has a scientifically supported mechanism. Try it now.
