My friend, Suzie's birthday was coming up and she loves everything vintage, so I set out out find her the perfect vintage gift. After trawling the high street, with no luck, I turned to the internet and came across Spinster Emporium. I lit up with delight as I discovered this gorgeous shop full of vintage treats. There's scrumptious vintage trimmings, adorable vintage buttons, gorgeous vintage wall papers and much more. This haberdashery has everything you would want for dress making, crafting, scrap booking or just inspiration, and I was inspired. After purchasing some gorgeous vintage trimmings and buttons for Suzie I needed to find the perfect packaging to package her scrummy gift. While exploring Spinsters Emporium I found that there is a blog, cleverly titled āknitter knatterā with general updates but also crafting tutorials!I purchased Sunshine Lollipops and Bluer than Bell Vintage Wallpapers, as the print was gorgeous, and Suzie loves yellow, but also the name made me smile. Spinsters Emporium seems to love using cute and quirky names to title their adorable I products, it really seems to add that little bit more personality! Their are some really good ideas there and thought it was a spark of genius when I saw the tutorial for vintage wall paper envelope and lining boxes with vintage wallpaper! This was definitely the perfect way to package suzie's gift. So I went to have a look at Spinster Emporium Cut and Paste shop, cramped full of gorgeous vintage and retro wallpapers! I purchased Sunshine Lollipops and Bluer than Bell Vintage Wallpapers, as the print was gorgeous, and Suzie loves yellow, but also the name made me smile. Spinsters Emporium seems to love using cute and quirky names to title their adorable I products, it really seems to add that little bit more personality! I could not wait for them to arrive, I get very excited about giving gifts, even more so when they are perfect! My order arrived quickly and I straight away set about lining a box I had bought with the vintage wallpapers and creating the envelope to put the vintage card I had bought previously into. I can use the left over vintage wallpaper for paper crafting and scrap booking I reakon, also really good for making little gift tags or invitations! After I had got it all packaged up I was so excited, from the outside it looked like a boring cardboard box without anything exciting inside but I knew she would get a surprised when she opened, and she did! Suzie loved everything I had bought her and all the retro packaging, she instantly had to know where I had found all this vintage stuff! So I told her Spinster Emporium and she grabbed her laptop straight away to check out the site and for about an hour all I could hear was oohs and ahhs of her falling in love with all the products. So if your looking for the perfect vintage gift or just a little vintage treat for yourself I greatly recommend Spinsters Emporium.
