Want More Energy For Physical And Mental Activities? Take Care Of Your Body And Outlook On Life

We only have so much energy in our body and without going into a discussion about where our energy comes from, I think we can all agree on the fact that it is there.

How is your health? Really be honest with yourself. Do you feel your health is above average and doing good things for yourself or do you feel unhealthy a lot of the time and find yourself dealing with colds or illness quite a bit. Are you a go-getter when it comes to getting out there and accomplishing physical tasks or do you find yourself lacking energy and have a hard time getting off the couch? Do you stay focused when your are engaging in a mental task or do you have a hard time focusing and find yourself quite scatter brained at times?

What you have to remember is that when you are sick or dealing with some type of illness your body is essentially using your available energy to help take care of itself and heal these ailments.

When you find yourself always stressed out to the max and overrun with tasks then your body is using its energy to help you get through the stress, which takes a lot of energy, and the chances of any being left for anything else is very small.

When you complain and bicker with people you are using large amounts of energy towards negative things and there will be very little available for something positive later. You know this is true because dealing with negative people will drain a lot of energy from you †we all experience and know that. So imagine how much energy is drained from you when you are the one being negative!

The point is we waste a lot of our energy on negative and unhealthy things and if we just took care of our bodies we would exert less energy on that side and more on getting positive things done both physically and mentally.

We need to start taking better care of our bodies with proper nutrition and exercise and we need to start being more positive about life as being negative tends to suck much more energy out of us.

We all know that after we exercise we feel better about ourselves and literally have more energy to do other things but how can we exercise if we are wasting all of our time on being negative and unhealthy?

We also all know that eating poorly can make us lazy and more likely to sit around while eating healthy food allows us to keep going on with our day without feeling sluggish.

Why don’t more of us do the healthy things then? Because we look at a healthy situation and think that it is going to take too much energy so we sit around and eat unhealthy instead. We actually have it backwards! If we want to exert the least amount of energy possible then we want to focus on positive things instead of negative and energy sucking habits.

What we don’t realize is that if we exert that energy we will have for positive tasks we will have even more energy and feel better about ourselves and, in turn, accomplish more things in life that really matter.

So try eating better, exercising, and being positive for only a week and you will notice your energy increasing and you will find it will become easier to get all the positive things done that you need to do.
