Water Testing Nj What Is Soft Water How To Remove Contaminates

By: RaData Home | Health-and-Fitness

What is Soft Water?
To explain this you will need to know what hard water is. Because water is a fluid medium that carries materials from one place to the next within itself.

The reason it does this so well is it is a universal cleaner, while water is in the ground the water starts out pure and clean, along the way it will pick up soluble bits of whatever it passes through and holds onto them, or dissolving them and they in turn become part of the water.

This could mean any type of contamination that makes water unfit to drink but when referring to hard water it is the minerals in the earth it picks up specifically calcium and magnesium.

These are the important factors that affect waters ability to function properly in our homes, and these are the common minerals that make our water hard.

So what is soft water?

Through the process of removing the minerals in the water through ionic exchange the minerals are removed and the water is now soft, or without all the rocks and minerals that made it hard.

How does hard water affect me and my home?

Hard water in our homes affects many aspects of our lives, of these hard water leaves deposits on dishes, clothes, skin, shower walls, and plumbing.
Hard water cost you monetarily with the added expense of detergents, appliance wear and tear, and plumbing repairs.

Remember I said clean soft water is a universal cleaner that means when it is used there are not hard water deposits, on showers, tubs, or toilets’ which means not harsh chemicals are needed to clean these areas.

In additions without the minerals in the water soaps become soluble as well as making the water wetter and allowing you to use much less in all aspects of cleaning including, dishes, clothes even your body.

Yes soft water will allow you a deep clean of your skin where all the minerals (little rocks) are not present to clog your pours, allowing the natural oils in your skin to moisturize you naturally.

Soft water helps to make unmanageable hair manageable. And let’s not forget about those drinks we prepare and the foods we eat when using soft clean water everything tastes better.

Think of having a nice cup of coffee without any rocks and minerals, that includes whatever you are cooking.

Ever do window cleaning with just water? No streaks when the water is clean and soft. Choosing a water treatment system for your home can be difficult if you do not know what you need.

There are all types of softeners to take care of your water needs, from under the counter models to whole house water treatment systems.

Have your water tested prior to installing a water softener is recommended to find out which water treatment system is right for your particular needs.
