YouTube Business Advertising - Business Advertising YouTube Hi there! My name is Lee Noring and I’ve been an internet marketing expert in promoting businesses online since 1996, almost from the very beginning. In today’s video, I want to talk to you about the importance of placing a complete video description including the webpage address or URL of the webpage you want your customers to go to, to find out about your products and services. Today, I'm using this video here from Music Rush 007 because they did a perfectly good job in loading up the video description with lots of texts and URLs. Now, many of you don’t know how to open this but when you mouse over it, you see the highlight and these arrows down. That exposes the full text description. But see, this YouTube client right here used a lot and what I’m talking about today is the importance of this right here, the complete URL of the page he wants you to go to, to find out more about his products or services. Right here, it’s berkeleyversion.com but it starts off and always will start off with an **see example in Bio section Now, it works better as far as getting ranking if you use the www. but in many websites, it’s not required to open the page. The other thing is you want to make sure absolutely that this link opens a page. So you can copy the text when you’re filling it out and try it but once you get to your video site, I mean in the YouTube description you can click on it, but right here we see that the link opens with no problem at all. So that’s what I was wanting to talk about today, the importance of adding links in your YouTube video description because YouTube is owned by Google and Google considers YouTube and most of the other social networking sites as an important site to have your links on. They consider it an authority site but you get more points to push you closer to the top of search engine rankings when your link appears on YouTube, on MySpace and most other social networking sites. This is Lee Noring, thank you for watching. Bye for now. Lee Noring (800) 311-7752
