Tanu Weds Manu is a Hindi romantic comedy film with R.Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. The film is directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Shailesh R. Singh. This story about two individuals as different as chalk and cheese has been scripted by Himanshu Sharma. The film has R. Madhavan portray the character of Manoj Sharma aka Manu, a demure and obedient NRI doctor, who comes to India to get married to the girl his parents have chosen for him. While we have Kangana Ranaut as Tanuja Trivedi aka Tanu, the rebellious and outspoken small town girl, who has a very distinct mind of her own and would indulge in everything her parents disapprove.
