Weight Gain Tips For Skinny

By: allen shawn Home | Health-and-Fitness

If you think losing weight is hard try gaining it. Some people workout every morning and every night consistently, but they're still skinny. Especially hardgainers, they're trying to gain weight and muscle mass but they only seem to be toning their body, not getting any bigger. Weight gain can actually be quite easy if it is done in the right fashion and a person really is determined to change their figure. Weight gain can be done with supplementation, a lot of food, and a very strict weight training routine. Supplementation is a very important part of gaining weight.

Then, start choosing proper nutritious meal for yourself. This step sounds easy but bear in mind that your choice of food in your weight gain diet must include foods that will especially help your body to gain lean mass, while avoiding unnecessary consumption of bad fats. Start by having six meals per day; breakfast, lunch, dinner and there small meals at regular periods. You can feast on steak, chicken, fruit, milk cheese and nuts to help you. As a hardgainer you should be following their lead on this. Don't worry about getting fat, you are trying to gain weight so feel good about yourself as you get your weight up.

The first and most important thing to do eat properly (count your calories daily). Eat five to six times a day and every time eat calorie enriched food. Your food must be protein and carbohydrates enriched. To get information about the quantity of each element in a particular food, you can consult basic calorie tables available online. Try to consume more and more fruits in the form of juices and shakes. Some teens can gain weight just by adding extra calories because it is a time when hormonal levels of testosterone are the highest in their life. Testosterone is the main muscle building hormone and responsible for the new muscle growth you experience when hitting puberty. Eat more protein and calories and you have a chance of gaining more muscle but if you really want your weight gain fast you need to hit the gym.

It is a wide-spread misconception that the more junk food you eat, the greater the likelihood of increasing weight. However, this only predisposes you to unwanted body fat and a variety of health complications in the long run. Therefore, you should opt to eat a variety of healthy foods that are high in protein, complex carbohydrates and essential oils and ensure that you minimize your intake of saturated oils. If you feel though you are eating enough still not gaining weight, then you have to check your definition of enough.
