Weight Loss Nutrition Plan | Popular Fad Diets Do Not Work

By: Home |

What is the difference between a popular fad diet and a good weight loss nutrition plan? A fad diet is a solution promising a quick fix. There is not such a thing, because if there was nobody would have weight issues. Furthermore, fad diets are bad for a number of reasons. First, the most obvious reason; fad diets do not work. Nutrition plans work. By now you must have read at least somewhere and heard at least someone talk about bad experiences with fad diets. There are countless fad diets out there.

What is the problem with them? Simple. They are not scientifically proven. The trouble is that no 2 individuals are alike. That leads to the more important problem. The health threat. What works for someone does not necessarily work for someone else. Even worse what is good for a certain person could be harmful for someone else. Keep at least this in mind when going on a diet.

Your body knows what is best for it, and when you are experiencing discomfort it is just your body letting you know that you are not helping it.

Here is a proven fact about most popular fad diets:

They usually suggest either complete elimination of a particular food group, or an excessive intake of another. These are just as bad. If you do not feed your body a specific kind of food, the specific function that relies on that intake to work will be impaired. For example, not eating any meat will cause focus and concentration to decrease. Not eating anything that is sweet leads to drop in blood tension and lack of energy.

A weight loss nutrition plan however is something alltogether different.

It relies on sound scientific reasons why you should or should not do something. It exploits not the limited resources of your body like so many popular fad diets out there, but characteristics you did not even know you posses. What is this about?

Here is the secret:

Each body is a specialist at burning away a specific kind of food. This means that it functions best when the intake of this particular kind of foods is high. In other words, if you feed yourself right your body will rewards you by losing weight and also making available plenty of energy that you can use throughout the day. It is a win-win situation.

The great part is that coming up with a good sound weight loss nutrition plan is only a bit more difficult than stumbling upon a ridiculous popular fad diet. You can go about doing this in 2 ways:

1)Read up on nutrition. This is pure science. Here you can learn what is and in what quantities is best for you. Doing this might take a bit of time but at the end you are left standing with valuable information that you can use over and over again.
2)Get a professional meal planner. These are now very cheap compared to what they used to be in the days only stars could afford one. They take all the math out for you. Just punch in your specific details and you are all set. You will get a specific diet custom-tailored to your specific needs.

Also, do not let anyone tell you otherwise: you need to exercise more if you want to lose weight. Exercise is great for both body and mind and you should consider it a treat. Do something that you really like, as often as you can. This will do 2 things for you:

1)It will help you out with your weight problem a lot better than any popular fad diet will ever do.
2)It will increase your self-confidence and self-esteem as you get better at it.
Both are precious in developing a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Lose weight the right way and by the end of the day you will have only yourself to thank.
