Well And Truly Loved!

By: Ann Stewart Home |

Do you ever have days, or seasons, when you see, think and feel that everyone around you has it all together? They seem to have and get everything they need and more than they even want, and they are happy all the time? You can see the blessings and love of God all over them and their families.

I had a few days where a bunch of things seemed to be going wrong in my family, with my computer, and my attitude. Adding insult to injury, my hubby, totally happy and at peace, barely reacted to my frustrations! He has a very close walk with the Lord, and I do thank God daily for this trust, faith and sunny disposition despite his physical and health limitations. I still need to work on my frustrations from time to time. Sometimes it's easier than others!

Waking up this morning I 'heard' clearly in my spirit: "Ann, I love you," with the emphasis on the 'you.' I smiled and instantly thanked Him! Yes, I know that I know that God loves me. I knew it before. But, do you know what? Just as in the natural world it's important to hear a loved one tell you verbally again and again that you're loved, so it is with God!

What I had this morning was a revelation; not knowledge! This was not just a verse that popped in my mind. No! This was a Rhema, or revealed Word of God, that went straight into the heart; not just the ears! I didn't ask Him whether He loved me. In fact, I did not consider myself unloved. He just showed up, and made my day!

That's how my Beloved Father works! When you're quiet before Him and acknowledge that He is God in your life, then He will reveal Himself and speak clearly to your heart.

Maybe you've been crying out to Him for something, when suddenly at a quiet moment when you're not even thinking of anything, you know that the Promise has been deposited into your heart. From that moment on, maybe after months of speaking and expecting your miracle, you know that it has been accomplished.

The situation may still be there, but you will know without a shadow of a doubt that it's done! Now it's no longer faith; it's God revealing His Will for your life directly to you through the Holy Spirit!

God does not make mistakes! We all make mistakes and have to suffer the consequences as well as the consequences of those who went before us. However, He is in the midst of it and He wants you to praise Him in the midst of your turmoil and desperate circumstances. Why? Because you were fearfully and wonderfully made! He knew you and everything you're about to become before you were even conceived. (Ps. 139: 14-17)

"Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands." (Isa. 49: 15-16)

Do spend some quiet time with Him and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the Father's Heart. Maybe you are feeling totally unloved, unlovable, and have nobody in the world to love you. Ask Him to reveal to you just what it means when He tells you:

"I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."
