West Palm Volkswagen Used Cc Can Bring You Affordable Luxury And Style

By: Rod Johnson Home | Automotive | Cars

A downsize is not always a successful thing in a vehicle, but in the case of the new Volkswagen CC it has been. The CC is stylish but it seats only four instead of five like the Volkswagen Passat and it also has less trunk space. Oh yeah, and it costs $2,000 more. But it seems to be a hit and that’s what matters.

Your West Palm Volkswagen used dealer has seen this popularity, as the CC has been the best-selling VW model behind the Jetta since its launch in 2009. Lately it has fallen to third place behind the Golf. But the CC is still the Volkswagen that it was except for the addition of DSG automatically shifted manual transmission, just like in the Passat. The V6 CC models still come with the regular automatic.

Known by many from the TV adds with the â€punch buggy†line (which I have to say is not even close to the slug bugs we all did as a kid), CC will be alone in the VW class when Passat gets a redesign next year to a bigger class. Customers of West Palm VW used cars can probably find a great deal on a pre-owned Passat.

When it comes to the seating capacity - just four - Volkswagen says it’s just going with the flow and that similar high-end cars have the same seating. (Unless you want to head to Europe where a front bench seat allows an extra person. We won’t be seeing that here anytime soon, though.)

CEO of Volkswagen’s U.S. operations Stefan Jacoby said of the limited seating, â€People come into the showroom, they look and if they don’t like that, they self-select out, maybe buy a Passat instead.†Well, this is true of any feature on a vehicle and when buyers go in knowing not only what they want, but what a particular model offers, their choice will be made more quickly and easily.

The Sport, with a 200-horsepower, four-cylinder front-wheel drive also has the new DSG engine and a base price of $29,660. Moving up to the 280-horsepower VR6 all-wheel drive with a six-speed automatic, you will pay a bit more - $46,359 (loaded). Actually, with the dealer-installed options like chrome exhaust tips and splash guards, you could be as high as $50,000 on this beauty. Your West Palm Volkswagen used dealer has a variety of used models to choose from as well.

The Volkswagen CC provides a comfortable ride and it certainly has the class we would expect from the VW tradition. There is the lack of legroom in the back seat, though. Otherwise, the interior is a lovely. The fuel economy is lovely as well, with the four-cylinder averaging 21-22 mpg city and 31 highway and the V6 coming in at 18 and 27 for the front-wheel drive and 17 and 25 for the all-wheel drive.

Dealers of West Palm VW used cars know how important high mileage number are to car buyers and are proud that their Volkswagen models rank so high in fuel savings.
