What’s The Best Way To Get Rid Of Dry Skin?

By: Dr. Mital John Home | Health-and-Fitness

Why is getting rid of dry skin so much harder than it should be? The biggest reason is because of the alcohol found in so many skin care products. Even big brand names use alcohol in their formulas.

Alcohol dries out skin and has the opposite effect you’re looking for. We knew there had to be products out there that were alcohol-free and would alleviate dry skin. What we thought would take a couple days actually took almost six months. A true testament to the misleading advertising we see everyday.

We knew there must be at least one company that made products that would be good at getting rid of dry skin. Only a small fraction of the almost countless skin products do anything close to what they say they do. Our mission was to keep searching until we found an answer.

What Causes Dry Skin: -

â€Each season brings its own problems. The cold winter winds bring dry, chapped skin. Wearing sandals and flip-flops or going barefoot in the sand, can cause dry cracked feet. Using sunscreen not only blocks harmful rays from our bodies, but it also blocks vitamins that the sun provides.
â€What we eat and drink has a big part in preventing skin problems. If you have consistent problems with dry skin, it is a good idea to check your diet. Vitamin A, vitamin B and vitamin E are necessary in the prevention of this problem.
â€Make sure you are eating plenty of leafy vegetables, and drinking plenty of water. Eat plenty of fruits, especially citrus. Take Vitamin E capsules, and keep a bottle of Vitamin E oil on your bathroom counter to massage directly onto your face and body.

It is what will help you stay moisturized and hydrated. And those are two things that you need, especially in order to get rid of angular steatites. So what you need to do is begin drinking around 6-8 glasses a day. That is the recommended amount needed to help eliminate that awful dry cracked skin around the mouth.

Natural skin care creams for getting rid of dry skin--work and because of that their popularity has exploded. Because of that many of the big name companies offer their "natural products", but only a small portion of the high quality ingredients are added in. Basically it's just enough to be able to claim their products have these ingredients in them.

Loss of water content on your skin layers is the immediate cause of dry skin. It is because either the skin layers could no longer retain enough moisture or they have diminished ability in absorbing moisture from the environment. There are many causes for this diminished ability.

Smoking, too much exposure to the direct sunrays, alcohol abuse, imbalanced diet and collagen loss are some of the leading known causes why the skin layers can no longer hold enough water.

Dry skin leads to a wide variety of skin conditions. People with overly dry skin may develop itchy red rashes. Dry skin is also prone to developing wrinkles at much earlier age compared to people with oily skin types. In worse cases, various forms of dermatitis, such as eczema and psoriaris, may eventually develop.
